Butter Pecan Gelato


Servings: 8-12


2TBSP butter

1 c chopped pecans

1 qt. Parmalat Gelato Mix

1 Tbs Pure Vanilla Extract


Heat butter in a skillet and toast pecans lightly. Cool. Add Mix, vanilla and sauteed pecans to ice cream maker and process.

*Always start with chilled ingredients. Dry ingredients that are stirred in afterwards can be room temperature, but anything liquid in nature will work better chilled. To puree, simply place fruit into a blender or food processor and pulse several time to liquefy. Understand how your ice-cream maker works and process accordingly. All recipes are based on an ice-cream maker with 1 1/2 quart capacity.
