Cheese Burger Dip

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 7 minutes

Servings: 20 (1/4 cup)

Satisfying and simple four ingredient quick-fix dip. Serve with chips of choice.

Ingredients

  1 lb ground sirloin

  1/2 lb sliced mushrooms

  1 (16-ounce) jar salsa

  1 (8-ounce) package shredded reduced-fat Monterey Jack or Mexican-blend cheese

Directions

1. In nonstick pot, cook meat and mushrooms over medium heat 5–7 minutes, until meat is well browned. Drain any excess fat.

2. Add salsa and cheese, stirring over medium heat until cheese is melted.

Serving Suggestion: Turn leftover dip into a delicious meat tossed with pasta or served over rice.
