Baked Apples with Brown Sugar and Raisins

Ingredients

  2 Granny Smith apples

  1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

  2 Tbs butter

  1 tsp McCormick® Cinnamon Ground

  2 Tbs raisins

  1/4 cup water

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Pierce skin of apples with fork. Place cut-side up in 8-inch square baking dish. Mix brown sugar, melted butter and cinnamon in small bowl. Stir in raisins.

Fill core of each apple half with about 1 tablespoon of the raisin mixture, spreading on top of apple, if necessary. Pour water into dish. Cover dish with foil.

Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
